My name is John Varlow, and I have trained staff within the NHS and academia in statistics, analysis and research methods for over 30 years.  I have taught and lectured at a number of Universities, including Leeds, Huddersfield and Bradford University within the UK, the University of Gibraltar within Europe, and  Buffalo and Fordham University within the USA. I have also delivered courses across the United Kingdom at numerous hospital, council and other sites.

Before setting up John Varlow | Training and Consultancy, I worked within the NHS for over 20 years in a number of Senior Management positions.  Most recently I was a full time national director responsible for national data flows, statistics and analysis.  This experience makes me ideally placed to offer high quality training, consultancy and analytical services.

John Varlow | Training and Consultancy was established in 2018 and is based in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.  We are able to work with customers across the UK and Europe both face to face and online.
